The worldwide acceptance and utilization of Reinforced Earth® known as Terra Armee® make it one of the most significant civil engineering developments in the last decades all over the World. A variety of applications such as retaining walls in fill and cut sections, abutments, water structures and railways have been used widely in many countries as well as in Turkey since 1988. Reinforced Earth® walls have been built on the Tarsus-Adana-Gaziantep, Izmir-CeSme, Kinali-Sakarya, Toprakkale-Iskenderun, Gerede-GumuSova motorways and lately on the Black Sea Coastal Highway. More than 350.000 sqm of Reinforced Earth® walls have been built in national highways, motorways, intersections of metropolitan municipalities and private sector projects in Turkey. A local Turkish company was incorporated in 1998 under the title of “Reinforced Earth® InSaat Proje ve Tic A.S.” by the foreign shareholder, the Freyssinet Group who is the inventor and developer of the Reinforced Earth® technology. Our company develops specific projects and realizes Reinforced Earth® applications in accordance with the international standards and with the technical support of Freyssinet Group. Our company offers supply of project design, material, application and technical supervision by using local sources on turnkey basis.
