Iteca is well-known in the Caspian region as a leading organiser of exhibitions. Topics of exhibitions and conferences cover all economic sectors. To carry out all exhibitions in Kazakhstan, ITE Group Plc involves its partners from Russia, Germany, Italy, Turkey, and Azerbaijan. Regarding the quantity and levels of the events held, Iteca is recognised as the leading organiser in the C.I.S. and holds the 2nd place in the former Soviet Union, yielding only to the ExpoCentre in Moscow. Iteca has organised and is successfully implementing several of major international exhibitions and conferences in Kazakhstan and Central Asia: Oil and Gas (KIOGE, Atyrau Oil&Gas); Mining and Mining Equipment (MiningWorld/KazComak Central Asia, MiningWorld Mongolia); Construction and Interiors, Heating and Ventilation (KazBuild, AstanaBuild, AtyrauBuild, BishkekBuild); Telecommunications and Computer Technologies (KITEL, AstanaKitel, Bishkek Telecom); Agriculture and Food Industry (WorldFood Kazakhstan, AstanaFood, AgriCA); Tourism and Travel Fair (KITF, AstanaLeisure), etc. Exhibitions by Iteca are noted for their top level of organisation, which makes them major events in respective economic sectors. They are rightfully supported by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan, RK Ministry of Energy and Mineral Resources, RK Ministry of Industry and Trade, RK Ministry of Health, and other ministries and committees, oblast/city administrations (akimats), and associations. Iteca works in close co-operation with the Atakent Exhibition Centre and such national companies as KazMunaiGas, KazakhTelecom, KEGOC, and Kazakhstan Temir Zholy. In 2005, Iteca organised more than 40 international exhibitions and conferences in Kazakhstan (Almaty, Astana, Atyrau), Kyrgyzstan (Bishkek), and Mongolia (Ulaanbaatar). As compared with the previous year, the total area of each exhibition has increased 20 to 40 per cent, while the total exhibition area of all Iteca events has exceeded 100,000 square metres. All events in Almaty, Astana and Atyrau had 175,000 registered visitors. The exhibitions included conferences, roundtables and workshops which contributed to the exchange, enhanced co-operation and presented goods in a more effective way. |
