I am glad to welcome you to our hospitable city - Almaty. Our city is a traditional meeting place for professionals in the mining and metallurgical industry in Septemberevery year. More than 3000 people from 30 countriescome to the exhibitions MiningWorldCentral Asia, Kazcomak, Kazmet: the miners and metallurgists, equipment manufacturers and suppliers, production workers and investors.
MiningWorld Central Asia is an ideal platform for product promotion, business development, market research, meetings with experts from different regions of Kazakhstan and foreign countries, and of course, it gives an opportunity for visitors to see goods. As part of further exhibitions,thespecial exhibition isorganized, where will presented the latest achievements of mining and smelting and roadoutsizal equipments.
Akimat of Almaty city actively supports the initiative of the industrial exhibitions by the Company «ITECA», because these exhibitions contribute to the priority sectors development of Kazakhstan's economy and relations with foreign market participants. I am glad to welcome you on behalf of JSC “National Geological Exploration Company “Kazgeologiya” at the International Exhibition“Mining Equipment, Mining and Ores and MineralsProcessing– MiningWorld Central Asia 2013”, “Metallurgy, Metal Finishingand Machine Manufacturing - KazMet 2013”and Traffic and Industrial Construction, Municipal Engineering - Kazcomak 2013”.
For nineteen years “MiningWorld Central Asia” became the largest mining exhibition and gathering experts, equipment manufacturers, representatives of the mining industry on the platformfrom 27 countries.The parallel exhibition “Kazcomak” and “KazMet”consolidated their international status, which are the leading manufacturers of CIS and foreign countries.
It is perfect, that these traditional exhibitions enjoy great success and are great important for the metallurgy, machine-building industry, mining and ore processing industry development in the Republic of Kazakhstan. Many years of exhibitions experience indicates a growing interest of visitors to their theme. For example, in 1995 the exhibition was visited 480 specialists, the total exhibition area was 300 square meters and in 2012 visitors were more than 3000 people, the area wasalready 9,500 sq.m. The effectiveness evaluating of the previous event showed that 16% of companies have signed contracts during the exhibition and 28% of participants estimated future sales amount more than 500,000 U.S. dollars.
The specially designed program of exhibitions will let you get and see the most comprehensive amount of information about new trends, discuss current industry issues, share experiences and establish contacts with the leading companies of the world.
I am sure, today's event will allow us to expand the cooperationscope, because the progress achievements are difficult and slowwithout the exchange. Therefore, holding such exhibitions contributes the expansion and deepening of economic relations between the countries, the penetration of each other's markets and creation of joint ventures.
