KAZAKHSTAN INTERNATIONAL ROAD AND HEAVY CONSTRUCTION, COMMUNAL MACHINERY EXHIBITION

MINING&METALS CENTRAL ASIA AND KAZCOMAK 2021 INDUSTRY EXHIBITIONS HAVE SUCCESSFULLY RESUMED THEIR ACTIVITIES.

Between September 29 and October 1 in the "Atakent" Exhibition Center, in the framework of the 26th Central Asian international exhibition "Mining equipment, extraction and beneficiation of ores and minerals" - Mining and Metals Central Asia 2021and 17th Kazakhstan international exhibition "Road and Heavy Construction, Communal Machinery" - Kazcomak 2021, 156 companies from 17 countries presented their achievements.

Taking into account the hiatus of the events, the exhibitions in 2021 acquired special significance for the participants: first of all, it provided everyone with the opportunity to meet potential customers face to face again, to have a live partner dialogue, and to effectively demonstrate their innovative developments and achievements in the production of equipment, services and design solutions in the field of MMCs. The fact that more than 60% of foreign participants are present among the exhibitors, confirms the international status of the events. Companies from Australia, Austria, Great Britain, Germany, Italy, Kazakhstan, Canada, China, Korea, Russia, USA, Turkey, Ukraine, Finland, France, Czech Republic, South Korea, as well as national groups from Germany, Norway, France and collective stands of the Russian Federation - producers from Lipetsk, Irkutsk, Kurgan, Kursk, Chelyabinsk, Penza and Tula regions presented their products and services.

During three days the exhibition was visited by 2,333 unique visitors, which once again proves the interest in exhibitions and shows the importance of offline events for the further development of partnership within the MMCs of Kazakhstan. According to a survey of visitors, exhibitions provide an opportunity to learn about trends, find useful contacts, and exchange experiences with colleagues.Peter Proshchenko, Business Development Manager of Ferrexpo from Ukraine, said that the exhibition was very useful and extremely necessary for business development. "The exhibition gives an opportunity to familiarize visually with the novelties in the field of MMCs devices and technologies. We learned a lot of useful and new information, and we will bring it to our site," said Peter.

  The exhibition participants were able to provide quality content to their expositions, presenting innovative and practical solutions in the field of design, mining and ore processing. There were also presented IT-products for mining safety, digitalization, automation and much more.

The business program of the Mining & Metals CA exhibition touched upon issues relevant to the MMCs. Round tables, presentations and thematic seminars brought together an audience of representatives of major domestic and foreign MMCs and industry associations. The program touched on Industry 4.0, which includes further digitalization, introduction of smart equipment, smart automation and robotics. The introduction of elements of Industry 4.0 in the MMC sector was the main topic of a series of master classes from the Tech Garden "PIT" Autonomous Cluster Fund . ORIENTAL Engineering Company held a seminar on solutions for dewatering concentrates of non-ferrous and ferrous metals, cakes of hydro-metallurgical industries. Seminars by Sever Minerals, NORSERVIS, FLSMIDTH LLP, LLP ELEMENT GROUP attracted wide attention of the audience, the choice of topics for presentations was fully consistent with the current challenges facing the industry.

The Ministry of Industry and Infrastructural Development of Kazakhstan calls mining and metallurgical industry in Kazakhstan the basic industry of the country, which ranks first in terms of its share of GDP. MMC also serves as a leader in attracting investment. Undoubtedly, Mining and Metals CA and Kazcomak exhibitions act as an important link in the chain of cooperation between enterprises of the mining and metallurgical industry of the Republic and their partners - key suppliers of equipment and services from all over the world. The exhibitions have once again proved to be the largest, most authoritative and effective platform for meetings and negotiations for both leaders and newcomers to the MMC sector.
